My personal experience essay

There are many reasons that I really liked this essay. It was my favorite that we have done so far. One reason that I liked this essay is that it was easy to writel. We could write about pretty much anything we wanted. I also liked it because we did not have to do any research. One of my least favorite things to do in an english class is reaserch papers. Since we did not have to do any research for this paper, that meant we did not have to do a works cited page or any in text citations. Another good thing about the personal essay is that since we already knew everything that we were writing about, it was much faster to write than if you had to double check the facts.
Although there are many reasons I liked this essay, there are also some reasons that I didn't like it. One reason is that it was really hard to pick a topic. It was nice that we did not have to write about a specific thing, but it also made it hard to pick one specific thing out of my whole life to write about. It was also hard because the topic I picked was kinda emotional. Since it had to do with the attempted suicide someone I knew, it was very depressing to write, but it also felt good to finally let it all out. It was also hard to write because i had to remember the little details and at points that was hard.
